Ichigo: By the way, where and how are all the graphics created by Mr.Tachizawa, exclusive designer of LOOPWHEELER, printed?

Satoshi: Graphic designs are being printed in Akita prefecture and in Tokyo. Let's go back to Tokyo and visit a printing factory there. Again, all the process of silk-screen printing are depending heavily on human hands!

Ichigo: I've been interested in silk-screen printing. Photograph would be much superior in expressing gradation, but it's cool to express the shaped
message in ink creating a very unique expression.

Satoshi: That's right. Basically, there are 2 ways of printing in our case, to print on cut parts or to print on completed garments. In a delicate graphic like this, to make absolute sure, we use the former way.

Ichigo: These are the parts hand-cut in Yamagata, right?.

Satoshi: Yes, indeed. To set body parts on the frame is the first stage of printing. Looks like simple task, but actually, one of the most delicate
work to make sure them all set identically.

Ichigo: These are the inks to be used in this print. Amazing number of colours.

Satoshi: They are all necessary in mixture. Once they are mixed properly, it would be kept at least for 3 months for a repeated request.

Ichigo: What is this?

Satoshi: This is the spatula called "Squege" used in printing. You are going to use it with both hands, the most delicate control requested. And this is the silk-screen. This transperant part would let the ink go through.

Ichigo: Well, transperant part gets the colour.... Just like negative films?

Satoshi: You can say so. For example, when you print a graphic consisted of 5 colours, you need 5 different transparent parts as individual screen. As the number of colour goes bigger, the margin of error also goes bigger. To make it right, you have to be very exact and delicate. Even the screen itself is never completely stable according to the person who made it.

Ichigo: Again, time and labour requested.........

Satoshi: OK, let's see them print.
